Registration acknowledgements are sent by email. Please provide an email address where possible. When not possible a postcard will be sent.

Course fee

Please be aware that fees for courses are subject to change from one year to another.

Payments

Payment for the a ALSO course must be received at least 3 months prior to the course commencement.If payment has not been received at least 3 months prior to course commencement, we reserve the right to cancel your placement within the course, unless prior arrangements have been made with the ALSO administrators.

Confirmation

You will be contacted if the course you register for is full. Your confirmation of place will be sent by email or post.

Course Reading Materials: a study link will be emailed to you once you have registered. If you would prefer your course manual in hard copy, then an additional charge of $55.00 is applicable.  Registrants are liable for postage and/or manual replacement cost where incorrect address details are provided or when the recipient fails to collect the parcel from Australia Post. 

Transfers

Transfers can only be arranged as follows

Where a course has been cancelled or changed by ALSO.Where the request for transfer is received 90 days (3 months) prior to the start of course currently registered in.Transfers may not be possible to your preferred course if there is no vacancy in course requested.Transfers within 42 days ( 6weeks) of the start of a course will incur a 50% penalty. Substitutions must be advised 30 days prior to the commencement of course. Please fax requests to: 02 8209 4949. One transfer only must be with in 12 month of the date of booking first course. More than one transfer incurs a fee of $400.00 penalty.

Refunds/Cancellation

Once your registration is processed, refunds can only be granted as follows:

Where a course has been cancelled or changed by ALSO. Where a written request is received 90 days (3 months) prior to the course incur a fee of $150.00.Due to illness, injury or misadventure - a medical certificate must be provided stating your illness. Refunds will incur a $150 administration fee (except where a course has been cancelled by ALSO).Cancellations within one week of the course start will incur a 100% penalty. Cancellations within 21 days prior to course commencement will incur a 50% penalty. A full refund, minus the administration fee, will be paid only if your place in the course is filled. Refunds are processed on return of course manual. Please fax written requests to: (02) 8209 4949.

Course Cancellations

ALSO reserves the right to alter any arrangements, including cancellation of courses should registration numbers not reach the 40 pax minimum requirement. The ALSO website is updated regularly regarding specific course status. We will notify you of cancellations and changes as soon as possible. Please be aware that ALSO is not responsible for any costs that may be incurred as a result of cancellations.

Non-attendance

Registered participants, without prior phone and written notification and without acknowledgement of receipt of this notification who do not appear for registration, are deemed to be a no show and will not be eligible for a refund of the registration fee.
