ALSO in Developing Nations

ALSO's committment to learning and better outcomes for women and their babies is not restricted to Australia alone. ALSO being a not for profit organisation made a small profit that we have directed into various teaching and learning projects in developing nations. In 2009 a small team visited the Thai Burmese Border and recently we have returned from a wonderfully successful course in Fiji. The ideal of Fiji being sustainable of local instructors passing on the ALSO way to the thousands of births in this region each year will soon come to fruition.

We would also urge you to consider donating any spare equipment that your hospital might be about to throw away. Please remember that these areas are developing nations and all the help that we can pass on does make a difference.
